Ophthalmologist surgeon Ioannis Stergiou was born in Kallithea Attica in 1980. He is a graduate of the Department of Optics & Optometry of T.E.I. of Athens (2004) and the Department of Medicine of the Democritus University of Alexandroupoli (2010).

He completed his specialization at G.N. Janeio in Piraeus (2017) and received a master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Camerino in Italy (2022).
